Mastodon formed in 1999 in Atlanta and has basically lived on the road since, touring with such acts as Iron Maiden and Slayer. The artwork used in this package is from the band's highly successful third album, Blood Mountain, which was released in 2006 and contains the band's most successful single to date, “Colony of Birchmen”. Rare is the artist who achieves that critical balance coupled with the level of fan support Mastodon has attained.
