Donny was born in Los Angeles and began his career early in art, working at a screen printer. From there he worked as an art director and creative director at top action sports companies. His fine art has been shown internationally, while his first book, Beautiful People with Beautiful Feelings, was released in 2006 to excellent reviews, and has garnered a cult following. Donny considers himself an absurdist conceptual artist. His art focuses on bringing an intellectual element to a mostly otherwise vapid, primitive and repetitive era in art. Donny studies Muay Thai kickboxing and appreciates a good beating.
