Dennis McNett

Dennis McNett has been carving the hell out of surly block prints for over 16 years. All of his encouragement as a young kid came from his blind grandfather, who told him over and over again that his drawings were good. Like a billion other teenaged kids, later influences came from skate graphics like Pusheads Zorlac boards, VCJ's 80’s Powell graphics, and the raw high energy images pouring out of Thrasher magazine. He once owned a timber wolf as a pet. Dennis has designed board graphics for anti-hero skateboards and has collaborated with Cannonball Press. He works hard from his Brooklyn studio that has a glamorous view of the BQE.

This collaborative project with Vans happened naturally and was born from mutual respect and a common vision for what hardcore skateboarding is all about.

Dennis’s incredible lino-cut art is strikingly reproduced on discharge printed black canvas, with deco embroidered detailing. This new signature series includes the No Skool 2 Mid, the Rowley 'Shambles', the AV Sk8-Low, and the TNT III Slip-On. The package is completed with four tee shirts that carry the same art from the footwear.
